Today, my team and I will embark on a mission. A search and rescue mission. Deep in the heart of the liberal democratic base. A district written off by most establishment Republicans.
This district has always been a special part of my life. I went to school in Palos Verdes and spent all my childhood summer days playing at Torrance beach. My fathers ashes were sprinkled off Pt. Fermin; and there are fond memories of him taking my brother and I to the westside of the district on weekend trips.
Lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time driving the streets and meeting people in Venice, Santa Monica, and Redondo Beach. This used to be the Golden Coast, the California dream!! And now,it barely resembles its former glory.
Real estate prices have squeezed out the middle and upper middle class. Those making $100,000-$150,000 are barely getting by. Literally, every corner, overpass, and park are encamped with the homeless. Fully employed people are living in their cars.
Meanwhile, Congressman Ted Lieu, the Democratic representative who currently oversees district 33 turns a blind eye. He spends his days tweeting and trolling President Trump. His whole agenda...his entire platform is to impeach the sitting President on a false narrative. Whilst grandstanding for YouTube sound bites that self aggrandize him.
This district deserves better, and help is on the way. My team consist of some of the finest individuals you will ever want to meet. This unit will support James P. Bradley whom just came off the heels of a California Senate run in which he was the #1 Republican candidate.
I worked on Mr. Bradley's campaign and got to know him on a personal level, he is coast guard veteran, father, son, and Patriot. I promise you, we will do everything in our power to change this dark blue district to red. To restore the dignity of the once majestic area. Every ounce of our energy with every fiber of our being, this is our goal. This deep blue district will turn red with your help. I invite you to join us on this noble mission.
