Conservative Louisiana Grocery Store Under Fire

Alexandria Louisiana- A Louisiana grocery store is under attack for an ad they ran that some are claiming was "politically charged."  The ad had a biblical reference to the wall in which it stated, "Heaven has a wall, a gate and a strict immigration policy. Hell has open borders. Let that sink in."

The ad drew a good deal of backlash on Social Media as captured by the below screen shot.

KLFY.com a local affiliate reaching out to  Mac’s Fresh Market owner Reggy McDaniel, who said it's about faith for him.

"That's my meaning of the whole thing is are people prepared to go to heaven or are they not,” said McDaniel. “I thought it was a perfect time because everybody is talking about the border, some people want it, some don't want us to have one. The only thing I was shocked about was that it's racist. I have never in my life been accused of being a racist, I’m 70 years old I haven't evolved into one."

Is the ad racist as some people are claiming? Or is the ad simply a business owner expressing his views of religion and politics?  What do you think?  Drop us a line to the editor admin@wecunews.com.
