Democrats will stop at nothing to remove the Second Amendment. Yesterday, house Democrats filed an amicus brief to the Supreme Court. In what could only be interpreted as get in line with our view of gun control or we will seek to restructure the supreme court.
The Second Amendment reads, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Democratic politicians are attempting to overturn the portion shall not be infringed.
This brief was filed by Senators Sheldon Whitehouse, R.I., Dick Durbin, Ill., Richard Blumenthal, Conn., Kirsten Gillibrand, N.Y., and Mazie Hirono, Hawaii. In the brief, they laid claim that the Supreme court has become political in nature.
To sum up their insult the Supreme court, the summary of their brief states; "The Supreme Court is not well. And the people know it. Perhaps the Court can heal itself before the public demands it be “restructured in order to reduce the influence of politics.” Particularly on the urgent issue of gun control, a nation desperately needs it to heal."
