Attorney General Merrick Garland has instructed the FBI to mobilize against parents who oppose critical race theory in public schools, under the guise of "threats."

In the body of the letter, Garland is directing the FBI to work with states Attorneys to address threats. Parents who oppose the teaching of Critical race theory being taught in schools are themselves the threat. It is an attempt to reclassify dissent as "disinformation" and "domestic terrorism,
Despite not describing any credible threat, Garland's memo can be interpreted as a suppression tactic by the Biden administration to suppress any and all dissenting opinion as it pertains to CRT.
