It's Super Tuesday and Social Media is Down

Today marks the pivotal moment for both Democrats and Republicans as they determine their preferred candidate for the upcoming Presidential election. However, in a predictable turn of events, Meta, formerly known as Facebook, experienced a significant outage starting at 9:00 am, causing disruption for numerous users attempting to access the platform.

The reliance on social media platforms extends beyond mere entertainment, as they serve as vital channels for discussions on national concerns. This outage not only affected Facebook but also impacted other prominent platforms including Instagram, Facebook Messenger, YouTube, Google Play, T-Mobile, Google, Threads, Discord, Twitter, Gmail, Oculus, WhatsApp, TikTok, Snapchat, and Verizon, amplifying the disruption experienced across various online communities.

At this time, we are unable to discover the etiology behind the social media attack but are actively investigating why people are unable to access their social media accounts.
