President Trump Announced he is Suing Big Tech

President Trump announced he is suing social media because of censorship. President Donald Trump announced a class-action lawsuit today against Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, and Google Sundar Pichai.


Trump said, seeks immediate injunctive relief to allow the prompt restoration of his social media accounts. He also said he is asking the court to impose "punitive damages" on the three social media giants.


The lawsuit against the three media giants, filed in federal court in Florida, alleged the tech giants have violated plaintiffs’ First Amendments rights.


The lawsuit also wants the court to declare that Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, a piece of legislation that stops tech companies from being held liable for what users post on their platforms, is unconstitutional.
