Republican Capitalism V. Democrat Socialism & The Immigration Industrial Complex

Whether we are talking about absolute or relative poverty, it is a systemic problem that is a byproduct of numerous overlapping factors and disparities that exist across all racial and ethnic demographics in both developing and developed Nations. Obviously, some far worse than others, but nonetheless, it is endemic in every society.
Unfortunately, the sad reality is that it is impossible to completely eliminate poverty, and any altruistic notion, however noble, or political claim, however self-serving, that we can permanently eradicate poverty is a lie that either politicians propagate on the campaign trail for votes or people tell themselves in order to ease or shift the burden of guilt they may carry for those who suffer and struggle to get by.
Suffice it to say, its complete extinction is wishful thinking that is confined solely to the boundaries of our imagination; however, throughout history, empirical evidence has overwhelmingly demonstrated that the best way to reduce and alleviate poverty is through Capitalism.

Of course, politically and ideologically motivated Progressive politicians presently parading up and down the corridors of Congress —(whilst no less wearing their antipathy and resentment for financially independent Americans on their sleeves as some sort of “do-gooder” badge of honor to be heralded and used against the “rich,” as though success and the American Dream were an immoral crime not to be celebrated or encouraged)— will fear monger and argue that people will die of starvation on the streets without “Big Government” intervention, that only Government, and not economic growth through freedom and Free-Market Capitalism, can reduce and allieviate dependent poverty…
Needless to say, if you dispute or disagree with that subjective argument, or, moreover, politically motivated erroneous narrative, you will be condemned and dubbed a heartless, cold-blooded monster who is going to push grandma off a cliff and children into the sea.
However, irrespective of the Democrats spurious claims, the fact remains that Government welfare programs and policies have not only never and will never lift people out of poverty, no matter how much funding Democrats demand and redistribute in their “rob Peter to pay Paul” game of fleece the taxpayer, but those very same social welfare programs and policies, aside from, of course, being inherently demoralizing and stigmatizing, were and are also deliberately designed and instituted by Democrat Socialists to keep people downtrodden and dependent on Government.
Additionally, time and again, irrespective of the “We Care” performative politics that Progressive politicians have perfected, they have, in fact, also been supporting and enriching themselves, funneling funding for favors, or favors for funding meant for the impoverished:

1)—Through: Government-subsidized NGOs and other supposed charitable organizations or groups.
2)— To: Their cronies, lobbyists, and Deep State bureaucrats in the permanent bureaucracy, you know, the “Haves,” those with power and influence.
3)— Back to, of course: Themselves
4)— At, no less: The expense and to the detriment of the “Have Nots,” the poor.
You see, being underprivileged or marginalized does not make you a favored class subject to special privileges and treatment by the Democrat Party. It makes you an object to be used and manipulated— simply a means to their end.
Sure, the “Social Justice” warriers on the Left side of the widening political divide will speak a good game, profusely professing to be fighting for not only the benefit and betterment of the American people writ large, but also to lift the forgotten up and out of poverty; however, in actuality, that is not what they are doing… as they say, “Talk is cheap.” Or, in this case, expensive... and possibly even deadly.
The truth is: what Progressive politicians are really doing is consolidating power by facilitating, promoting, and protecting their personal and political priorities, interests, and allies, not only via the back door, through, as I mentioned, “funding for favors or favors for funding,” but also through the front door, via the legislative process.
You know, voting on and enacting social welfare legislation devised to not only not ameliorate or alleviate and reduce socioeconomic problems and poverty that were caused and/or created by our federal Government in the first place, out of either sheer economic ignorance, general intellectual ineptitude, or more likely malign apathy—you know, deliberate disregard for the people of this country for whom they were elected to serve—but, in fact, legislation that is deceptively labeled, to manipulate the marginalized into believing one thing while doing another.
Indeed, cleverly enacting legislative measures that establish perverse incentives for the marginalized and the vulnerable to remain sufficiently poor enough to qualify for continual unremitting Government welfare benefits and subsidies that keep them down and dependent.
Policies that, no less, not only eliminate one’s ability to independently support oneself, much less break out of the cycle of dependent poverty to further oneself, but legislation that also guarantees both the preservation of the permanent, Deep State bureaucracy and lifetime tenure for their unelected bureaucratic partners in political crime… in the name of Absolute Power and One-Party Centralized Administrative Nanny State.
Obviously, ultimately, and invariably, making life exponentially more costly and arduous for Americans as health deteriorates and crime soars, as poverty grows.

The fact is Government waste, fraud, and abuse, its self-serving policies and programs, and its restrictive regulations —(that are growing increasingly more tyrannical against and intrusive on the private sector and in our private lives)— have not only made meeting basic needs unnecessarily expensive, stripping poor or otherwise struggling Americans of disposable income that would afford them more economic security but they have also—obviously, aside from the obvious, Mother Nature, accidents, and unwise lifestyle choices and the like—played the singular largest role in making poverty pervasively endemic.
The truth is, the only incontrovertible, guaranteed way to lift the underprivileged out of dependent poverty and economic despair, so that they may be afforded the opportunity to actualize and fulfill their dreams and God-given potential, is to thwart our Government's Unconstitutional restrictive encroachment on our "Freedoms" and the “Free-Market” economy without which independent self-reliance, success, and prosperity can't be attained.
Obviously, it is freedom, freedom of will, freedom of ideas, freedom of expression, freedom of innovation, and freedom of the free-market that naturally and synergistically work together to create opportunities that lead to prosperity that ultimately lift people out of poverty, regardless of one’s socioeconomic status, not Government:
Needless to say, as a result of those freedoms and as a matter of course, principle, and logic, as societies and/or as individuals become richer or accumulate more disposable income, they live longer, healthier lives because they not only have more but improved access to vital life-sustaining resources—they can afford to stop worrying about food shortages and sickness due to poor sanitation and malnutrition, and so on and so forth. Their quality of life, health, education, and security are drastically enhanced with higher incomes.
The answer or cure for poverty is not and never will be Government handouts that only ever serve to relegate and regulate people into bankruptcy, poverty, and Government dependency for survival.

So when no-growth Democrat Socialists pontificate on high, falsely claiming that “inequality” is at the heart of our societal problems, declaring that only Government and the Democrat Party can and want to lift Americans up and out of poverty —(of course, no less whilst they simultaneously not only re-up federal funding for their social welfare programs and redistribute wealth in the name of equity, but also create additional welfare programs to add to the 80 we already have)— they are, in fact, not lifting people out of poverty. Rather, they are funding the poverty that people are trapped in.
No matter what or how many which ways to Sunday, Democrats attempt to twist, distort, and manipulate reality, the truth is, as they well know, inequality declines and people emerge from poverty when, as I mentioned earlier, more opportunities are created through unregulated Constitutional Freedoms and minimally regulated free-market Capitalism, through pro-growth economic development, ideas, and investment in innovation and education rather than robbing “Peter to pay Paul” in order to fund social welfare programs.
As Margaret Thatcher once said, "The trouble with Socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money."
Capitalism will always lift people out of poverty through the creation of jobs and opportunities where none previously existed, whereas Socialist welfare programs and policies will not.
Furthermore, from an immigration perspective—particularly given the Democrats love of “Open Borders" and Illegal Aliens—when you think about an ever evolving or expanding economy and you don’t deliberately flood our Nation and the jobs market with Illegal Aliens, i.e., cheap labor, wages will, in effect, be forced to rise to meet the demand or need for a larger American workforce, ergo, once again lifting more Americans up and out of poverty with more disposable income at hand.

However, conversely, when you consciously flood the jobs market with millions upon millions of Illegal Aliens/cheap labor through an unconstitutional Illegal Alien electioneering invasion initiative —(apart, of course, from being an obvious drain on funding and resources appropriated for impoverished and disabled American citizens)— it also damages our economy and drives down wages, which as a direct consequence can, will, and does push countless Americans out of good paying jobs—supplanted by Illegal Aliens/cheap labor—and into dependent poverty.
Sure, from a business perspective, a never-ending supply of cheap labor means more profit, and obviously profit is a good thing but it’s not everything, at least not in the heart of most Americans because people will always come before profit—that is the American spirit, after all…. but I digress.
Suffice it to say, my point is that, like a thermostat, if you raise and lower the temperature of the cost of labor, LEGAL immigration can, in fact, be used to prevent or offset a massive spike in the cost of labor, and likewise you could also slow legal immigration to initiate or provoke wage increases that will not only not damage the economy, drive businesses into bankruptcy, and people into dependent poverty, but rather benefit employees, the employer or business, and hence, the economy, invariably providing more job or career opportunities and higher incomes that ultimately, once again, lift people out of poverty.
That said, even without legal immigration, our Nation would still do just fine.
And why?
Well, during a labor shortage, able-bodied grifters mooching off the system and living in dependent poverty by choice could be forced off welfare and into the workforce.
And why?
Well, because there would be jobs available for said grifters that we were paying them not to do by giving them welfare, not to work.
Needless to say, at the end of the day, my point is that the things Democrats claim to care about—you know, a higher “living wage" and "lifting people out of poverty"—can actually be accomplished by simply shutting down the border that they want OPEN.
So when Progressive Politicians advocate for open borders or “cheap labor” and the use of welfare programs, "robbing Peter to Pay Paul," to purportedly lift people out of poverty, all they are, in fact, doing is funding poverty and driving down wages for the American workforce through illegal immigration.
As I discussed earlier, the best and, in my opinion, only way to lift people out of dependent poverty is to spur economic growth, invest in innovation, education, and “Made-In-America” manufacturing industries, reinvigorate the economy, and create jobs.

Think of it this way: if you asked someone, preferably a Black Progressive Liberal Democrat, what they believe, out of the following options, would be the better or more socially conscious way to spur economic growth in order to lift Black minority Americans out of poverty:
Would it be:
1)— To pay a handful of Black athletes tens of millions of dollars to sport, for example, Nike gear in commercials, whilst Nike manufactures its products in China due to our Government’s high corporate tax rates that have driven the lions share of large companies out of either business or America, and Americans out of jobs and into dependent poverty, whilst simultaneously flooding our Nation or workforce with Illegal Aliens or cheap labor, hence, taking more jobs away from Americans and pushing more Americans into dependent poverty.
Or, would it be:
2)— To shutdown the “Immigration Industrial Complex” and close our borders to Illegal Aliens/cheap labor, and offer American manufacturers, like, for example, Nike, lower tax incentives, possibly even some subsidies, to bring their companies back to America wherein they could set up shop in minority or underprivileged communities thereby creating jobs and opening up opportunities for minority and marginalized Americans, hence lifting said Black minorities out of dependent poverty and into good paying jobs.
Would it be the former or the latter? - I believe the latter.

Ask yourself, why do Democrats always focus on bringing the top down, robbing Peter to pay Paul in order to fund Socialist social welfare programs or dependent poverty, while Republicans always focus on bringing the bottom up through the Capitalist free-market economy that stimulates economic growth, jobs, and opportunity?
The answer:
To Democrats, it’s about “Big Government,” Socialism, power, control, and financial dependence on a Government that is of, by, and for politicians.
But
To Republicans, it’s about “Small Government,” Capitalism, freedom, opportunity, and financial independence from a Government that is of, by, and for the people as our Constitution and Founding Fathers intended.
“Dependency is merely slavery with a smiling mask.”
