The International Criminal court located in The Hague, Netherlands is an intergovernmental organization and international tribunal. The ICC has jurisdiction to prosecute individuals for the international crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity, war crimes, and crimes of aggression.
There is a trial scheduled for December 4-6 whereby the ICC is alleging that the US forces serving in Afghanistan and the CIA committed crimes against humanity. "The Prosecutor submits that 'although the existence of a plan, policy or large-scale commission is not a prerequisite for the Court to exercise jurisdiction over war crimes, the information ... has assisted the Prosecution in determining that there is a reasonable basis to believe that the alleged crimes were committed and in assessing the gravity of the crimes."
However, the United States does not accept the ICC as a legitimate court. Mike Pompeo issued the following statement. "The United States will take all necessary steps to defend its sovereignty and protect the U.S. and allied personnel from unjust investigation and prosecution by the ICC."
What is the factor driving the ICC to reopen an investigation into US forces after it was rejected in April of this year? Could it be pressure from the NGO's that currently fund the ICC?
One NGO that funds the International Criminal Court is The Justice Initiative. "Back in the 1990s, the Open Society Foundations, under it's then-president Aryeh Neier, helped support the diplomatic efforts that eventually led to the Rome Statute." Roman Statute is the legal guidelines that the ICC conducts its hearings on. The Justice Initiative is an Open Society Non-governmental Organization. The Global board, chaired by our founder, George Soros, works with our leadership to develop and review strategies.
If Soros groups are working on having the US troops prosecuted in an international court, what else are they plotting behind the scenes?
According to Capital Research author, Matthew Vadum, "Left-wing financier George Soros is planning to profit from the illegal immigration crises in the United States and the European Union that he was instrumental in creating."
Soros is funding open borders politicians like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez according to The Blaze. Incidentally, AOC made the claim that the US is putting ‘concentration camps’ on the border.
Her statements are making the claim that there are Human rights violations occurring at the border, and while a quick look at her twitter account confirms that she believes this.
Should the ICC decide to intervene in the United States Armed forces, there is a pretty good chance that they will try to insert themselves on the accusations of American politics. Given who is funding the ICC. Despite the fact that the crisis at the border was created before the current administration took office.
Can the international criminal court's prosecutor open a case and bring charges against American citizens? Ultimately giving the ICC jurisdiction to put on trial American military who travel overseas?
