Public Impeachment Hearings Begin Today

Adam Schiff has moved his clandestine impeachment hearings from the basement of the capitol building to public hearings. The hearings will begin today. Parties who are interested in the live streaming can catch the hearings on Youtube, C-Span, and some networks will interrupt their regular schedule programming to watch Adam Schiff try to garner public opinion for the impeachment of President Donald J. Trump.

Who is going to testify?

The first witness to be called will be Bill Taylor, "the top diplomat in Ukraine, who has told investigators that there was a parallel foreign policy channel set up involving President Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani that undermined the official Ukraine policy and national security interests." As reported by the New York Post.

Afterward, George Kent will testify about how Giuliani defied bipartisan support for Ukraine. Kent is "the deputy assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs, who has described how Giuliani defied the bipartisan US support for Ukraine while pushing for political investigations that could benefit Trump."

Democrats have claimed that these open hearings will be "riveting" and will surely sway the public in the direction of impeachment.

However, Republicans will not be able to ask direct questions about anything that pertains to any back information regarding these impeachment proceedings. They will not be able to question witnesses with direct knowledge of the intent of the President. Only the evidence provided directly by witnesses that Adam Schiff approves of.

In a rally, President Trump was taunting House democrats. Saying that he was so afraid of his political opponent Joe Biden that he called a stranger in Ukraine. Trump believes this attempt to impeach him is nothing short of a witch hunt.
