In a recent interview with Tucker Carlson, Bill O'Reilly stated that America has entered "The Age of Chaos". Citing his reasons for his belief in this are the problems at the border and the progressive party. The question we are asking is, has America entered into the age of chaos?
The Border
While the Biden Administration claims that the southern border is secure, and claims any border issues fall squarely on the previous administration, the facts do not support their narrative. As of May 2023, "There have been over 5 million illegal crossings along the southern border since President Biden took office." Chief of the U.S. Border Patrol Raul Ortiz has conceded that the United States government does not have operational control of the southern border, with five of the nine border sectors under “considerable strain” and unsecure."
In addition, Todd Benson, Senior National Security Fellow, claims, "A little-known part of the Biden administration's CBP One parole program permits inadmissible aliens to make an appointment to fly directly to airports in the interior of the United States, bypassing the border altogether."
Soft on Crime Prosecutors
Prosecutors throughout the nation have become significantly soft on crime. Due mainly to outside influences from high-income sources. It is uncertain if the people living in the districts know that their elected district attorneys will be soft on crime, or if they just vote for whomever they see on street signs, and media advertising.
The Retail Giant Target is closing 9 stores nationwide due to organized retail crime. Target stated, "They tried taking “meaningful steps” to improve guest experience and business performance but made the “difficult decision” because certain locations saw theft and organized retail crime threatening the safety of employees and consumers.
Vice President for Asset Protection and Retail Operations David Johnston said,“ Retailers are seeing unprecedented levels of theft coupled with rampant crime in their stores, and the situation is only becoming more dire," He went on to state, "Far beyond the financial impact of these crimes, the violence and concerns over safety continue to be the priority for all retailers, regardless of size or category.”
The Rise of Communism
Amidst the backdrop of many left-leaning politicians embracing the label of democratic socialists, it becomes crucial to recognize that several policies endorsed by this group bear an undeniable resemblance to communism. Whether or not they explicitly acknowledge their affinity with a communist ideology, their publicly supported views align with those outlined in a significant work called "The Naked Communist." Written by FBI special agent W. Cleon Skousen in 1958, this book lays out the very goals that the communist party pursued to usher in communism. Today, it's disconcerting to witness that several of these objectives are actively being translated into policies.
Number 17 of the communist goals is listed as, "Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda." While many schools throughout the United States are promoting the changing of language especially where it concerns a child's sexuality. They are actively encouraging children to explore their own sexual preferences. This goes hand in hand with number 24, which states, "Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press." This includes a movement of the Democratic Party to call child pornographic books free speech, and they actively promote the use of this material in several libraries. Anyone who opposes this is referred to as a "book burner" and is admonished by the democrat party.
Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
Present homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”
Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”
Other Communist goals are listed below:
Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”
Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use [“]united force[“] to solve economic, political, or social problems.
As the United States embraces policies that some believe are steering the nation towards communism, like the infiltration of media channels that promote ideologies inadvertently aligning with communism, there remain passionate Americans who steadfastly see America as a bastion of freedom.
